Daniel Solar Engineering is a family-owned company founded by Daniel's father after spending more than a decade working alongside solar installers, contractors, builders, and homeowners throughout the solar industry. During those years, he witnessed firsthand how often projects were delayed — not because of installation, but because of the engineering and permitting process.
Incomplete plan sets, slow turnaround times, inconsistent communication, and repeated permit corrections became common obstacles that prevented otherwise ready projects from moving forward. While installation crews were prepared to begin work, engineering and permitting often became the biggest bottleneck in the entire process.
Recognizing the need for a more reliable solution, Daniel's father founded Daniel Solar Engineering with a simple vision: create a company dedicated exclusively to delivering high-quality solar engineering and permit-ready design. Rather than dividing attention between sales, installations, and engineering, the company was built around allowing each team to focus on what they do best.
As the company continued to grow, Daniel joined the business, helping expand operations while maintaining the same commitment to quality, communication, and customer service that the company was founded on. Today, Daniel and his father work closely with an experienced team of solar designers, licensed Professional Engineers, and permitting specialists who support residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar projects across the United States.
